1st XV Squad Announcement

I am pleased to announce that apart from Dinos Alexopoulos who is retiring all the players who featured in our first season in National 1 have all re-signed for season 2012/13. These include our five England Counties players.

2011/12 was an exciting season with us finishing second, scoring 1000 points in the league, getting some big results both home and away, having five players selected for the England Counties squad and also three selected to tour in June and Phil Chesters being selected for the Barbarians.

You will see below a list of our new player signings. We have managed to recruit some very good players which will all add to our already competitive squad.

New signings for season 2012/13

Tim Tunnicliff – ex Blackheath and Esher. Last season he was the player coach at Old Colfeians

Richard Townsend – Hartpury College, England Students and Canada U20s

Steve Pape – ex Cornish All Blacks, Rosslyn Park and last year played for London Scottish. He has also represented England Counties, England Students, England Universities, England Colleges and England U18s

Ben Thomas – he has played for England U20s, Saracens Academy, London Welsh, Barking and played for London Scottish last season

Adam Sowter – Richmond and has also represented St Marys University

Sam Shires – Tynedale and has also represented England Counties

Tom Parker – ex London Irish and Barking. He has also represented England U20s

Andrew Henderson – ex Newbury and Rotherham, Jersey and for Barking last season. He has also represented England Counties

Jake Hobbs – Luton

Jack Dever – Kent University

Senior Academy

Isaac Ajiyi – Last year he was involved in the following; Wasps elite player development group, St Benedicts Captain and Middlesex county

Joe McVey – ex Staines, Feltham and Strodes College

Matt Killeen – Matt is a product of our Youth section and has represented Middlesex County and Irish Exiles

Players who have been released

The following players have been released from their contracts. We would like to thank them all and wish them the very best in their future endeavors
