2 more Academy players to train with the Pro Squad

The Academy are extremely proud to announce that 2 more players have been invited to train full time with the Pro squad at the club. U17 winger Reon Joseph and U20 prop Ziana Alexis will join flanker Tyler Bush training full time this week. Marcus Lowe will also return for a further two week period from next week.

On announcing the news Academy Director John Lacey said “This is fantastic news for the players and the wider group within the Academy.
Ziana recently joined us to train while continuing to play with his club at Amersham & Chiltern and has really impressed. Reon has had a really good season linking with the Senior Academy from the U18s, he has a lot to do on his skills but is an exciting prospect with a great work ethic.
Add these two players to Josh Steadman who trained full time in preseason, Tyler Bush who will train full time until the end of the season, Marcus Lowe who has a further two week period with the Pro’s and Josh Hodson who has had his trial with London Welsh extended to the end of the season and we can really see the rewards of the Academy programme.
This is a great opportunity for the players and we’d like to thank Ben and the Pro Squad players and coaches for giving the guys this chance to improve and develop.”

Ealing Trailfinders Academy are always looking for ambitious, committed and hard working young players aged U17 to U23. If you would like to find out more, contact Academy Director John Lacey.
