Academy passes 1,500 coaching hours marker

Ealing Trailfinders Academy coaches have this month passed through the 1,500 coaching hours delivered marker for the first time. This illustrates the expansion of roles and wider activities that it now covers.

The Academy is now responsible for The Junior Academy, made up of U16 & U18 age groups, the Emerging Player Group for U15-18 year old potential high achievers, The Senior Academy group with players U19-23 and the Community Schools Programme.

Academy Director, John Lacey said “This is another significant milestone for the Academy programme and is something we and the club are extremely proud of. We are really fortunate to have a highly motivated and dedicated group of coaches, delivering excellent coaching, who rise to every challenge we set them. We are now reaching a far wider player base, across all ability levels, in the club and community environments and this can only strengthen the whole club. It’s a massive honour to work alongside the Academy coaching and management team and would like to thank them all for their hard work and humour.”
