Academy U18 retain Farnham Fat 10s Cup

The Academy U18s have won the Cup Competition at the Farnham Academy, Fat 10s Tournament for the second time in as many years.

There were some great performances across the Squad but the coaches voted Luke Parry as the player of the day. Other notable performances from Ryan McPartlin as top try scorer and Ciaran Poynter who could only stay for an hour but managed 2 games and scored 3 tries.

Academy U18 head Coach Dave Samuel said “We are really pleased with the attitude of the players today, each member of the squad contributed to the win. We applied lots of our principals of play throughout the game and were relay hard to defend against.

I’m very proud of the boys, there was a large proportion of U17s in the squad so it seems we are already shaping up well for next season”.

Focus moves on to next weeks Championship U20 10-a-side Tournament at Vallis Way. Its going to be a great day of exciting running rugby. Please try to get down to support the boys.
