Minis Rugby Section at Ealing RFC

We are hugely proud of our Minis rugby section at Ealing Trailfinders RFC. Each Sunday over 500 boys and girls all play rugby in a well-organised, safe environment with fantastic facilities.

Our objective is that every child who joins Ealing Trailfinders RFC Minis section will receive a warm welcome and embark on a long and enjoyable rugby sporting experience.

We start at four years old with our ‘Rugby Rats’ and progress through to Under 12s (school year 7) after which our players move into our Youth section and play in Herts-Middlesex Leagues.

Rugby Rats, the Under 6s, Under, 7s and Under 8s all play Tag rugby – a fast moving, non-contact game where the vital skills of running, evasion and passing are learned. At Under 9 contact rugby is introduced following the RFU New Rules of Play.

If you wish to start playing rugby at Ealing Trainfinders you should do one of the following:

  1. Contact our Membership Manager by emailing
    membership@ealingrugby.co.uk,
     or
  2. Turn up on a Sunday morning just before training commences at 12 noon.
NB. Rugby Rats and U6s will always be at home, however other age groups may have away fixtures so please check first with the applicable age group manager via the Contacts page.

We train at Trailfinders Sports Club, W13 0DD – follow link for more details of location.
