Another rugby season beckons which will be the 144th in our club’s history

I would like extend you a personal invitation to join Ealing Trailfinders Rugby Club as a Social Member, which is our non-playing membership section specifically for our past players and current supporters, for what promises to be yet another very exciting season both on and off the field for our Club.

After last season’s spirited performances from the 1st XV against some strong opposition in the Championship, where we narrowly missed out on retaining our place in that league, we look forward to another season of thrilling rugby at ETRFC. With a crop of new exciting signings though the summer and the return of many of our 1st XV stalwarts we are firmly setting out sights on promotion this season and returning to the second level of English rugby in the Championship.

Add to all this our highly successful minis & youth sides and the continuing success of the Emeralds (our Young Ladies side) and you can see we had an excellent year on the field!

All monies raised through our Social Membership will underpin the Club in two main ways;

Support the Senior Club

Our Senior squads are the on the field driving force in the club and their success brings huge benefits to all sections of the club through sponsorship, attraction of players and spectators and also income through merchandising and advertising. Running these squads, providing quality coaching staff, physiotherapy and kit is obviously an expensive undertaking.

Safeguarding the Club’s Heritage & History

In the last years Social Membership subscriptions have funded restoration work on the Club’s honours boards and also the re-framing of playing shirts all of which were damaged in the fire at TFSC in August 2005. We also helped fund the project to write a definitive history of the Club – this work has now been completed by Rugby Historian Dick Tyson whose book ‘Flare & Fire’ is now available.

There are two options for Social Membership of Ealing Trailfinders Rugby Club:

Individual Social Membership

The subscription rate for individual Social Membership is £135 for the 2014 / 2015 season. This now represents terrific value for money as it also includes a full members season ticket in the package which will give free entry to all the 1st XV’s home National One league games, a free match day programme and free match day parking.

Family Social Membership

The subscription rate for Family Social Membership for the 2014 / 2015 Season is £135 for a couple. This gives full membership of the club to both partners with all the benefits that brings however season tickets are not included in this membership package and need to be purchased separately.
