Ealing Trailfinders Academy U19 v Bedford Blues Academy lost 3 – 45
Saturday saw the Trailfinders U19 side take on an impressive Blues Academy side at Vallis Way, good weather made for great conditions for running rugby.
A fine example of fast accurate rugby was delivered by the young Blues and the Ealing Academy struggled to cope with the pace and power of the visitors for large parts of the first half.
Credit to the Trailfinders youngsters, the second half performance earned some respect, finally taking the game to Bedford. With no try to show for their efforts, some would feel this was a bad day in our young careers but it’s days like this that show us where we have to go to become the players and team we want to be.
Quite possibly the pinnacle of our fixtures list, a real step up in quality and intensity points the way to go!
