Ealing Trailfinders Academy are extremely proud to announce the formation of a Satellite club of Ealing Trailfinders at Elthorne Park School. In this new venture, the Academy will provide expert coaching support for the school in the form of an after school club.
The Academy has worked with the London Borough of Ealing, London Sport and the RFU to secure funding to introduce rugby as an extra curricular sports club in our local community.
Academy Director John Lacey said ” This is a great opportunity to expand the role of the Academy at Ealing Trailfinders into the local community, Elthorne is not a rugby school in the traditional sense but there is a real chance to introduce the game to a new audience especially with the World Cup on our doorstep. It is a great fit for us to be involved, we have coaches with a wealth of experience coaching young players, a desire to widen our talent ID opportunities and hopefully grow the membership at the club. We have had massive support from the London Borough of Ealing, London Sport and the RFU but this would not have been without the efforts of Graham Reed from the club. We are really excited about this development and hope to expand further into the local community, building similar relationships with other local schools.”
