On announcing the team, U19 Head Coach Tom Gamage said “This is an excellent opportunity for our boys to measure themselves against what likely to be the toughest opposition they will face.
It’s really exciting that even though we are an U19 side we have a big U18 and U18 presence in the squad.
Ollie Morris will skipper the side from the midfield. He has had a great first season in the Academy, he will set the marker for the other boys to aim at and reads the game very well.
Some boys have been really unlucky to miss out this time, lets hope this isn’t the last time we can offer an opportunity like this”.
We are all very proud to be able to host a National Age Grade side at Vallis Way. The bad weather means there will be a fantastic crowd and atmosphere at the Club. We’ll be kicking off 30 minutes after the 1st XV play their rearranged Championship game against Rotherham Titans.
