The Emerging Player Group is designed to identify and develop potential high achieving players from within the club or nominated individuals from clubs or schools.
Players are divided into U16 and U18 training groups, working in small numbers with the Academy coaching team. Both Groups focus on core skills, game sense practices and strength and conditioning programmes.
Players within the programme are encouraged to play up with older age groups in selected matches to expedite their individual development, this process is individually assessed and managed between player, parent and coach.
We welcome the nomination of players from coaches and teachers, please contact Academy Director John Lacey to discuss further the opportunities available.
