Ealing Trailfinders 1st XV and Championship Development Squad are part of an elite squad that is managed on a semi-professional basis. The 1st XV competes in National League 1 whilst the Championship Development Squad competes in The Shield sponsored by ZOO Sports.

The ground staff worked some miracles to get the pitch anywhere near a playable state, and it was a credit to both teams that they played a game worthy of its status.
