Ealing Men’s 1sts 20-7 London Irish Amateurs

Ealing Men’s 1sts climbed to 8th in Zoo Shield Division 2 by completing the double over London Irish in driving rain. Just three weeks after a narrow but deserved win in Sunbury, a fixture rearrangement meant another game against the same opposition.


Men’s 1sts 5-39 Herford 2nds

Promotion to Zoo Shield Division 2 has meant a significant step up for Ealing’s senior amateur team, with fixtures against the second strings of several successful National 2 and 3 clubs, and the home fixture against Hertford 2nds proved to be another tough encounter, against a team unbeaten so far this season.


Richmond Saxons 42-5 Ealing Men’s 1sts

Clinical finishing from turnover ball proved the difference as reigning Zoo Shield Division 2 champions Richmond Saxons accumulated six converted tries, despite having less of the possession and territory than Ealing.


Ruislip 12 – 20 Ealing Men’s 1sts

After agonisingly falling two points short after a stirring comeback in the away fixture at the Athletic Ground just a few weeks ago, the Men’s 1sts had a chance for revenge against a team tucked just above them in Zoo Shield Division 3, and in a tough physical encounter eventually came out on top in one of their best performances of the season.
