Joe’s funeral is on Monday, the 11th March at Breakspear Crematorium, Breakspear Road, Ruislip HA4 7SJ at 12.15pm
The Club members were saddened to learn of the passing of Joe Lecky, aged 84, on 15th February 2019. Joe was born in Dublin and at some point made his way to Ealing where he became a Club VP and also Club Secretary from 1976 – 1978. During this period Joe was the planning permissions mastermind for the upgrade of the old clubhouse on Horsenden Hill. Joe was a contemporary of club stalwarts Bill Taylor and George Clempson and lured both away from rugby to take up bowls at Pitshanger Park Bowls Club where Joe was Club Chairman for many years.
