Former Ealing junior players Dave Francis and Chris Rose have been named in the Trailfinders 1st XV Squad for the coming season, the first since the foundation of the club’s minis section.
Dave, who plays flanker, has in the past two seasons played international rugby for England U18s and Wales U18s and is also training with Wasps.
Chris, a winger, has played sevens and A team games for Harlequins, who are following his progress closely.
Dave has already represented the club in a pre-season game this season, however Chris has been unable to be involved due to injury.
Among this year’s new signings are Luke Wallace, back row, and Rob Buchanan, hooker, both on loan from Harlequins.
Shaun Anglim, Lee Evans (both St Mary’s), Gethin Davies, Morgan Thompson (both UWIC), Ash O’Rourke (Leeds) and Sam Wells (Hartbury College) all join the club direct from university sides.
Among the summer departures were long-time Ealing servants Owen Bruynseels and Danny Walsh, who have retired, and crowd favourite Matt Garvey who has returned to London Irish.
