Well all of this may be slightly optimistic given the weather forecast, but here we go…………
Barking v Dings Crusaders
Form suggests that Dings will come off second best , with only 1 win and a draw from their travels this season – HOME win, but hopefully the Barking bandwagon will creak!
Barnes v Henley
Barnes desperately need a win. No form to speak off from their previous 6 games, 1 win against local rivals Richmond and that was away! No wins at home but some close losses. Henley have won 2 or their last 3 games, but they were at home. On the road they have only produced 1 win at Canterbury. Away win in my opinion with something to spare as the Hawks enter 2010 with a bang!
Clifton v Worthing
Clifton’s home record is impressive , the only points dropped were against Dings in the mud in early December – Too far too early for Worthing – Home win with all 5 points.
Richmond v Bridgwater & Albion
Richmond impressed in their loss to us…..They are now trying to play rugby and will be too strong for basement club Bridgy! Home win with a nice bonus point as well!
Shelford v Canterbury
Interesting fixture , 6th v 7th! Canterbury took Barking close last week, and on the road they have won their last 2 games. Shelford have only suffered one loss at home this season against Clifton, 19-21. I will go for a close home win , but the Kent side to get a losing bonus point.
Westcombe Park v Southend
A local derby to start 2010! Southend are sitting in 4th whilst their rivals are in unlucky 13th! A close 19-6 win for Southend in the previous encounter. Combes form has been poor, one win in their previous 6 games, but they have run teams close – Away win but again a close game.
