Peter Green RIP

The Club was very saddened to hear that Ealing Trailfinders player and supporter Peter Green passed on Saturday 27th March 2021. The Club extends its deepest condolences to Peter’s family.

Peter’s brother David, also an ex-player at Ealing writes “Peter sadly passed away on Saturday 27th March aged 68, after a long illness. Peter joined Ealing Rugby club in the late 1970s playing No 8 for the senior sides for many years. He was a keen tourist and went on several tours including Lourdes and the USA. He then joined the Evergreens for a few more years and was Evergreens Captain for a season. As a non-playing member, he persuaded his company Redhat to sponsor the professional club and also privately sponsored the amateur club on his retirement. I, and the family, will be holding a wake for him at the club later this year.”

Any club members who wish to record a memorial message on the Club website Obituaries Section HERE may do so by emailing messages and photos to Men’s Section Chairman Paul Clarke via menschairman@ealingrugby.co.uk. Please include your name with your message.
