On Wednesday 11 May, some 25 players and a good few referees congregated at TFSC to participate in Summer Touch Rugby.
The growing attendance meant that the session was split into two games each featuring sides of six players, playing across the width of the first team pitch.
Feeling in need of a good workout or looking to improve your handling skills? Summer Touch Rugby on Wednesday 18 May is what you need!
On Wednesday 18 May we will meet at 19:15 in the paddock to be ready for a 19:30 kick off. We should be finished by 20:45.
Sessions are £2 each or £20 for the whole set of sessions (a total of 19 weeks).
In the case of inclement weather leading to unsuitable playing conditions, a note will be put on the website before 16:00 on Wednesday.
Note that Wednesday 18 May is set to be a busy day at TFSC. At 18:30 the USA U20s men’s team will host the IRFU U20s in a 2011 IRB Junior World Trophy warm-up match. There will be a barbecue from 18:00 and all touch rugby players are encouraged to come down early to add to the atmosphere and watch the first half of this match. More details here.
Everyone is welcome at Summer Touch Rugby (our most recent session included players from all of our Senior Amateurs sides, representatives of the Youth Section, erstwhile Ealing players and guests from other clubs).
