Wayne Barnes, the International Referee, will be attending Ealing Rugby Club on February 10th, three days before the France v Ireland match, to share with us his interpretation of the new application of the laws at the breakdown. The floor will then be open for any questions on any refereeing topic. The evening will commence at 7.30 pm with the presentation commencing at 7.45 pm. We would love to show Wayne a great Ealing welcome so PLEASE attend.
This evening is for referees and coaches – and anyone else interested in the interpretation of the breakdown laws or simply hearing Wayne speak. He is very knowledgeable and an excellent speaker so please come along. Put this date in your diary. The presentation will include practical demonstrations, so volunteers will be required to be bodies on the floor of the clubhouse.
For those referees who wish to aspire to greater things, Wayne will be training at the club from 6.30 pm and would be happy if any of you wanted to join him. This will last for approximately one hour. It should be a very revealing exercise. Any of you who are serious about making progress should make every effort to join in.
