Academy win secures National Colts Cup Quarter Final spot

A lovely fine still day after so much rain made the decision to rearrange a good one, both teams looked set to give their all.

U23 players wanted for Easter clash

Following the resounding success of the U23 match in December, the club is investigating a further fixture on Sunday 6th April.

With the recent bad weather taking its toll on the pitches at Vallis Way the Academy took the decision to give up home advantage and move this RFU Cup fixture to Hitchin whose pitch was in excellent condition and in the bright sunshine there would be no excuse not to play some rugby.

Ealing Trailfinders selected a strong side for their latest fixture, this time taking on the Combined Services U23 squad. Having already recorded impressive victories against the Army Academy Development squad and the Navy Academy U23s, this was sure to be the biggest test yet.
